The Moon Shadow accommodations include Apollo’s Lair, a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home; Aphrodite’s Cottage, a 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage; and Athena’s Haven, a studio loft with bath. If you are coming to Sonoma with family, friends or colleagues, Moon Shadow is the ideal property for you. It is a wonderful retreat for bridal parties, yoga aficionados, bird watchers, artists, writers, for example. Options to add to your experience at Moon Shadow include your own private chef prepared meal or picnic, private exercise or yoga classes, massage treatments, and customized limousine tours.

A unique feature at Moon Shadow is the availability of the property for private events like weddings, family reunions, catered dinners, group retreats for yoga afficionados, bird watchers, artists, writers, etc. – PLUS the occasional option of utilizing the owner’s newly built, stunningly appointed 2 bedroom/2 bath home for your event or group as well.

You can gather your own organic eggs for breakfast from the resident chickens, as well as help yourselves to the owner’s vegetable and flower garden for seasonal produce and decoration. Walk around the property and enjoy not only the natural beauty (including a seasonal creek and waterfall), but Ernie’s unique sculptures made from salvaged materials. Enjoy croquet, badminton and horseshoes.

All of the accommodations are tastefully and charmingly appointed with a collection of antique and country style furnishings, including local art work. All have fully equipped kitchens.

Apollo’s Lair – 2 bedrooms, each with kings (one Cal, one Eastern), , 1 bathroom with tub/shower, wood stove $295/night

Aphrodite’s Cottage – 1 bedroom with full bed, queen sized sofa bed, 1 bathroom with tub/shower $250/night

Athena’s Haven – Studio (open living/bedroom) with queen bed, twin sofa chairs, bathroom with shower $175/night

For stays of 3 - 5 nights, deduct $50 per night.

Weekly rates (6+ nights) - Apollo's - $1,400; Aphrodite's - $1,225; Athena's - $875

Maximum occupancy for all units totals 14 adults. There is the occasional option of renting the owner’s newly built 2 bedroom, 2 bath home in addition to the other accommodations at Moon Shadow as well.

POLICIES
Children are welcome by prior arrangement. No pets. No smoking on the property. A refundable $500 security deposit will be required, with liability release form when renting individual units and a $750 deposit with liability release form when renting all units. There are animals (wild and domesticated) on the property.
