Drive past the stone pillars and the small, neat vineyard , and you will find this home is set back from the hustle & bustle, yet right in the heart of the Sonoma Valley wine country.

Walk through the front door with leaded glass, and into the living room which offers a dramatic view from the picture window through the vineyard to the magnificent vista of Hood Mountain.

The avant-garde furnishings accent the pitched, beamed wood ceiling and are highlighted by the stone fireplace, making a wonderful place to sit and sip some local wine while enjoying good conversation or a board game with friends and family.

The open kitchen, done in a soothing buttercream color with wood cabinets and trim, offers ample space for your own culinary creations. Hardwood
floors add to the warm feel of this home, while walking from the kitchen into the friendly den area with TV, DVD, CD & stereo, comfortable chairs and
a full-sized sofa bed.

From the dining area, you can access a lovely covered breezeway, offering views of the looming mountain and al fresco dining in any weather.

Both generously sized bedrooms boast queen sized beds and ample closet space. Good reading lights, night tables, and chairs afford you the needed
basics, while allowing for plenty of uncluttered space for your own belongings.

Two bathrooms, one accessed from the master bedroom, and the other from the hallway, have glass doored showers, pedestal sinks, lovely tile and have been newly remodeled.

The outside space includes the vineyard in the front and a large back yard area which, while not traditionally landscaped, offers ample, flat space
for kids to run and play in, and for lounging under the ancient Valley Oaks.

One voucher per property, per stay. The voucher will be available for you at the property when you arrive, to use at your leisure for lunch or dinner.

Dining Recommendation: Vineyards Inn - a Bar & Grill! A casual, local favorite in Kenwood, featuring Spanish style tapas and incredible fresh local & Hawaiian seafood among the extensive Spanish offerings of steaks, sautees, Paellas & pastas. You must give Chef Steve's weekly specials a try. One of the valley's best hidden secrets! The staff is friendly, and there is a great bar, always populated by interesting people, where they turn out delicious margaritas with a full bar & local wine list. Enjoy dining under the grape arbor in the large covered patio as well as by roaring fire in the winter. Large groups can be accommodated. (website)

"This is our fourth visit to the Sonoma Valley area which we enjoy very much. We normally stay at a hotel. We decided to try a vacation home and, after our five day stay at 7700, we will only return to this property in the future! Everything we needed for our comfort and happiness could be found in this one magical dwelling. We also dined at the owner's restaurant, Vinyards Inn - also an excellent experience!
